Downtown Council of Kansas City honors Will & Grail
The Downtown Council of Kansas City recently honored Will & Grail for its commitment to making the area a great place to work, live and play. The award was presented May 12 by the Downtown Council Board of Directors.
Will & Grail is housed in an old spring works factory building in the Crossroads Arts District area of downtown. In addition to renovating a building as part of the city's overall downtown revitalization effort, the agency was also honored for its work in growing business in the area. Will & Grail's idea accelerator provided free space and assistance to dozens of young companies, including Niall Luxury Goods and Charlie Hustle.
Will & Grail's idea accelerator, Ingenology, has also hosted the Kansas City site of the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, the world's largest hackathon. In 2013 and 2014, the Kansas City team had back-to-back winners in a challenge category.
