Will & Grail is sponsoring and curating Conquer for Good, a mini-conference on March 2 highlighting efforts in Kansas City to build a thriving ecosystem for the advancement of social enterprise and purpose-driven companies.

Conquer for Good will feature speakers representing some of the top local for-profit companies, non-profit organizations and government entities. Topics will prove how efforts in Kansas City can be combined to create socially responsible, sustainable enterprises that optimize resources. Specifically, speakers will discuss how entrepreneurial innovation, enterprise-level scale and an egalitarian sense of purpose can merge for-profit, non-profit, educational and governmental approaches into a new model for solving today's most critical problems.

The event will be hosted at the Gem Theater in the historic Jazz District in Kansas City. It will present an afternoon of content, followed by a celebration and networking event with complimentary food and drinks at Lifted Spirits Distillery in the Crossroads district. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Kansas City-based non-profits Children's Mercy Hospital, Turning Point and Water.org.

"As a society, we are waking up to the need to drive intentional change that makes a profound, positive impact on lives, communities and the world. How to balance profitability and purpose, making meaning and money," Will & Grail co-founder Mark O'Renick said. "Organizations that recognize this foster a dynamic environment fueld by creativity, collaboration and capital. Conquer for Good is a discussion about how we can continue developing businesses and organizations like this and make Kansas City the epicenter for social enterprise."
